Crisis management for events
The topics and contents
The deployment of employees and crisis management strategies has long been part of everyday life for larger companies. The aim of crisis management is to minimize the impact of unforeseen events and strengthen organizational resilience.
The dynamic current global changes often have an impact on our events. These include demonstrations, disasters and climate-related disruptions. In addition to the immediate incidents during the event, crisis management in the MICE sector should therefore also analyze the external influences of the event. Traditional crisis management methods should therefore be an integral part of any event and conference planning. A particular focus here is on preserving reputation and effective crisis communication.
Our many years of experience in the event industry and the direct experience of critical situations during various events have inspired us to develop our own MICE crisis management system. Our approach places particular emphasis on on-site incident management.
We want to share our practical experience and enable the training participants to apply this knowledge effectively and put it into practice. Our objective is to create an in-depth understanding of crisis management and develop practical skills that enable event planners to respond proactively and professionally to any challenge.
In 2 modules you will gain an insight into the most important building blocks for MICE crisis management.
Systemic and systematic
Together we develop checklists and measures for your events. Using fictitious scenarios, you will approach the topic of MICE crisis management. In addition to the theoretical learning content, interactive and practical group exercises will teach you how to best prepare for incidents!
The training combines methods from BCM (Business Continuity Management), crisis management and systemic training.
